Hey all, with the newest version of TWiLight Menu ++ this is working from SD on 3DS and DSi! Great news for an underappreciated great emulator!

Have you attempted the uninstall option in Hakchi2? That is suppose to restore the initial dump that was backed up when you first ran Hakchi. Basically a factory wipe of the device and reload.

Did you manually change the file directory to match where you put them or did you add the generated file path to the SNES through FTP? This is giving me such a time and all the added games are showing C7 errors when I try to run them even if it shows the art and name.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do this(add games to the NES side). What have you figured out Liriel that makes it work like a folder. Thanks again.

Awesome write up! I know that it seems that people have been ignoring your posts but this thread goes so quickly with how many different types of mods are being discussed that I think it is just forum fatigue. I honestly think that we need to have a thread split between people that want to keep...

Did not mean to steal anyone's thunder. Awesome discovery! I googled it tonight and posted unaware it had already been discussed. Sorry.

It brought my total space down to 199MB auto Seems the thread over at reddit actually has a way to add additional games as well.

Works wonderfully. A couple of side notes though: 1. Once you launch into the NES classic from the Games menu, you have to reboot to get back to SNES. 2. It seems to only support the original games right now. You can't sideload other titles at this point. Must give credit where it is due...

Has anyone tried this? https://github.com/teamzebra/snesclassic.dualboot/blob/master/README.md Apparently it makes a hmod that puts the NES classic and all the games on the SNES classic. https://www.reddit.com/r/miniSNESmods/comments/76fr80/release_nessnes_classic_dualboot_mod_v03_no_more/...

Okay, now that Street Fighter Alpha is working, what is going on with the sprite in the middle of the Uniracers rom? I wish I knew more about the editing of the code but I don't.

Curious question that would probably best be asked to Cluster himself but is there any possibility of dual booting the NES and SNES Classic OS and set of games on the same console. I am aware that you can use Retroarch (and we might actually need to have a separate forum for purist that want to...

The preset id setting to 1065 is for Super Street Fighter 2, not Alpha 2. I am unaware what type of magic caused alpha 2 to work. I'd love to be enlightened as it is the last one on my list of games that I want on the system.

I can confirm that changing this preset id works with the US rom unedited.

Okay cool. I had told a couple of people on here that I would extract it straight from the wad and see what happens and I was just reporting my findings. Unfortunately, no dice!

So I tried pulling Super Street Fighter 2 from the VC wad and it gave a C7 error. Rom plays fine in a emulator on my computer.

I have the VC downloaded for ssf2. I'll try it when I get near a computer.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
