Hacking Any way to decrypt Wii Virtual Console ROMs for use in RetroArch?

I recently installed RetroArch on my PlayStation Vita, it works pretty well with the ROMs I tested. Now, I have quite a lot of Wii Virtual Console purchases from systems like the Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, NES, SNES, PC Engine and so on. Looking at the SD card, the games seem to be...

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

I heard that h-encore^2 works on 3.72 now. Is there any confirmation yet if the SD2Vita works on it too?

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

I am familiar with ref00d. Never installed it though. I never saw the need to as I thought back then that the 3.70 HENkaku would render it obsolete.

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

Certain Vita games require later firmware, so the later the better. I'm personally not interested in emulators and the like, my need for hacking is purely to restore full compatibility with Vita, PSP and PSone games on PSTV.

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

Yes, I noticed. The last update was in 2018. I left a comment on the GitHub page bringing the matter to attention. Let's hope they patch it.

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

So your saying the somebody needs to insert some new hack to make the SD2Vita work on firmware >3.68?

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

The SD2Vita can;t be used on 3.70? -_- Now I understand why TheFloW also released Modoru a few months ago. So much for keeping the Vita on the latest firmware at all times. Trinity must be for those who are dead set on using official Vita memory cards. I think I'll just downgrade to 3.60 and...

Hacking The "My SD2Vita/PSVSD is having issues" thread

OK. I just installed firmware 3.70 on my Vita2000 and my PSTV and got Trinity up and running on both systems. I had to reinstall Adrenaline for some reason, but the Whitelist hack and Vita USB streaming plugin still worked right out the box. For whatever though, my Vita won't detect my SD2Vita...

Hacking Trouble with multi-disk eboot.pbp backups

Looks as though this is a common problem. I found several other threads reporting the same issue. https://forums.exophase.com/threads/driver-2-multi-disc-eboot-problem.10091/ Apparently, there is a patch to fix the NTSC version of the game, but I can't find one for the Australian PAL version.

Hacking Trouble with multi-disk eboot.pbp backups

The prefer to use my legally obtained copies of games. Anyway, the only eboot I can find is for the US version. My copy was bought in Australia. The US version has Disk ID numbers of SLUS-01161 and SLUS-01318, while the PAL versions are SLES02993 and SLES12993. The US eboot wouldn't work with my...

Hacking Trouble with multi-disk eboot.pbp backups

OK. Recently I started using ImgBurn to make backups of my own personal PS1 disc collection. I then convert these rips to eboot.pbp using PSX2PSP, which I then copy to my Vita and play using Adrenaline. For single-disc games, it works fine. But I've encountered an issue with multiple disk games...

Hacking SD2Vita problems with free space

Yes, after posting this thread, I came across this thread suggesting the exact same thing: https://www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/6u9ai2/sd2vita_incorrect_free_space_solution_fix/ I followed James Tech's steps as before, this time by selecting 64kb allocation space. I haven't tried the...

Hacking SD2Vita problems with free space

OK, I finally broke down and got an SD2Vita adapter and a 512GB Samsung micro SD that I bought from JB Hi-Fi. I installed TF Card Plug-in tool and followed the steps discussed by Tech James for setting it up as uma0 and ux0. When I set it up as uma0, nearly the entire card is empty. No...

Hacking Questions on Playstation TV Whitelist and Accounts

Thanks for the tip. I FTPed the config.txt from my PSTV to my computer and made changes to it, then uploaded it to the ux0/tai folder along with the DSMotion and FakeCamera files. But it didn't work. I made a copy of the unaltered config.txt file. If I sent you a copy of the two, would you be...

Hacking Questions on Playstation TV Whitelist and Accounts

Sorry to bump up this old thread. But TheFloW released h-encore a few days ago and HENkaku works on 3.68 now. I'm having trouble installing these Plugins using the new HENkaku. Pardon my IT illiteracy, but I only used the old HENkaku for installing the old Whitelist hack. I've long since used...

Hacking Forcing 480p or 576p on PAL Wii Virtual Console games

Well, I'm currently saving up for an UltraHDMI for my N64. Those seem to fetch nearly $200AU. The Framemeister's price was never a deal breaker for me - my deal breaker with the Framemeister was its dropouts during resolution changes, a characteristic of most of my favourite PS1 games.

Hacking Forcing 480p or 576p on PAL Wii Virtual Console games

I have a Lenkeng LKV6000 mini HDMI adapter for my PAL Wii, which upscales the picture to 720p or 1080p. The most use I get out of the Wii is Virtual Console titles. However, the adapter doesn't seem to accept 288p resolutions of the Virtual Console games. I've been using the Component AV...
