Homebrew Transferring a Powersave BIN file to a digital copy of a Pokemon OR game without a cartridge

Hello all, I successfully hacked my new 3ds XL with Luma CFW up to the current version. I USED to have a cartridge version of Pokemon Omega Ruby but I have no idea where it went so I basically lost it. I do have the powersave bin files from when I used to back my data up and mess with the game a...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Thank you good sir. You have left me in a position to redownload the old games very quickly and easily. One last question, I just successfully downloaded Pokemon Omega Ruby however, it requires me to update my DS system. Is it safe to update my DS System even though I have CFW? (The files you...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Okay. I did that and the 3DS booted as normal. What step should I take next? I looked some stuff up and I need something called FBI to install cias? Is there an alternate way to get games or is that the only way?

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

What do you recommend I should do then? Should I try to learn how to install CFW from the beginning? Honestly, I'm not too sure what direction I should take. Just a few things to explain my current circumstances is that: 1. The 3DS won't boot up without the new SD Card in it meaning that...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

So this 3DS had CFW on it before, I believe it was luma. Is there anyway to check if I still have it? The idea that I transferred all the non-corrupt files but the 3DS working differently as a result is worrying me a bit before I do anything else. auto Also, just a reminder is that I don't...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Hi everyone. I know I haven't been able to post but it's finally my school's break so I got around to fixing this 3DS again. I managed to transfer the non-corrupted files to the new SD card and the 3DS can boot just fine but all the games that were there are missing. I did manage to see another...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Yes I have done the non-corrupt files, and yes I have tried other sd cards except when I try to turn on my ds with an empty or without an sd card, the light turns on for like a second then turns off.

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

If you could please elaborate on solutions for other circumstances, that would be very helpful. Right now, I have about 5 gbs of memory free and it still says that there isn't enough space.

I deleted many files that took up space (just roms and cias) and it still says there isn't enough space... Any more suggestions?

Is there a guide I can follow for GodMode9? I'm not too sure what that is or how to make a backup.

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Hello everyone, sorry for the late response. I just got the new SD card in the mail, however when I try to transfer the files, it won't let me because a few of the files are corrupt. Is there any way to replace NANDmin.bin? That's the one that is corrupt. The others are just roms and cias that I...

Homebrew 3DS on Luma ARM9 Takes over 3 minutes to boot

Actually, maybe I will buy a new card... I am operating the menu now, and I have to get to system settings. However, when I move too much in the menu I get this error message: Any suggestions? Maybe further solidifying the fact to get a new sd card?

OKAY WAIT. It finally worked, except I had to wait about 26 minutes for it to happen. Should I be alarmed by this and stop and buy a new card first and continue? Or should I just keep going with the process?

So, I finished the first part of putting the files onto the SD card. However, I am running into this issue when running SafeB9SInstaller. The image shows: It is stuck on "MicroSD Card - checking..." Any suggestions? I looked around it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this issue.
