    I'm trying to connect my USB connector to my laptop but everytime I do, Windows 10 keeps saying that the last USB device you connected malfunctioned and windows doesn't recognize it. Is there a fix for this or have i just broke the USB connector entirely?

    Things you recently bought or got

    I got a new fat PS2 that comes with a carrying case for the console, GTA Vice City, Max Payne, and Ice Age. Planning on getting OPL to work on it and the HDD games too. It's expected to arrive this Thursday as of writing this.

    Ah, fair enough. I guess if you do have a modchip installed that reads burned discs and you don't want to install it again on another one, then I guess replacing fuses is your only choice.

    Can’t you just get a new PS2 so it can read the HDD? I know this is a silly answer but knowing that I’ve had this problem since July 2020 and can’t really OPEN the system and replace fuses due to me not having any experience with repairing old systems and would probably just make it worse by...

    I learned all the DIYs and cataloged everything for myself and I'm still not banned but I wouldn't do this if you're scared of getting banned. As of changing your name, I'm not sure myself but I heard from some people that it doesn't make you an island representative anymore.
