Neat, will check it out. If you somehow got it compiled you would still have to modify the python script to be more mac "friendly. That's not easy, trust me i tried. If i where you i would just install linux on spare computer (with usb3) or just dual boot it on your mac.

Rip, that should be the frequency that it uses while in the dock, i guess you could go "low". I will change the script a bit to make it have a lower frequency as "normal". Yes, all of this will be obsolete in a mater of months, this just a fun project really.

Ok so the md5 checksum does not match at all (92807f9870c5f53e82b53d2d8ad1d558) so it's highly likely that this is in fact a corrupt download file. You should try to re-download it.

Try to run it without ;sync. ";" is a fish/zsh thing, && should be the correct way. But for the mean time, just run sync after tar is done.

I have heard good things about the oneplus cables, i also use it my self. But don't buy those unless you need fast charging on a oneplus device as they are kinda expensive. Other that that i'm kinda blank really. I guess official phone chargers should be fine as they deal with data-transfer as...

Windows applications are compiled mostly to x86, getting them to work on arm with wine will not work. There might be some clever solution out there to emulate them but i dunno. EDIT: Scratch that, you might find this interesting. https://wiki.winehq.org/ARM

Sure, it's just a simple bash script that gets symbolically linked to /usr/bin. I'm just going to release the script as the rest is quite easy (and also not necessary) to do. https://0w0.st/power.sh auto Maybe you should mention that you have to use qemu-aarch64-static aswell

Huh, people seems to have different results with my rootfs. This is all very strange as you are all using the same rootfs. All i can think of is that maybe some you didn't sync or you got a strange sd card or something as it should most definitely work. Have you tried to power cycle it?

Then you might have done something wrong. Slim should automatically log you in. Yea that was an oversight on my part, you can turn it off in kde's settings. Also kinda funny that my desktop KDE got onscreen keyboard on lock but the switch doesn't lol.

You will need to run these in a linux terminal. Yes the first one extracts it to the the SD-card tar xvf "name of the tar file" -C /mounting/point/of/ext4/partition then run sync You should extract it to the rootfs partition as shown in the tar command. You don't need to copy the tar to the root...

You might have a better result if you try to compile it yourself. To be honest you should just give up on the bin files and use the tar files instead. It's much simpler really. Sound is still not fixed, i would image this has to be fixed in the kernel really.
