These things already have a tough time running some games at 60 FPS (and this particular thing spots a 2.5k display, that's roughly 2560 x 1440), and they are running off a battery.
90+ Hz would be neat, but there is neither performance overhead to make use of it nor enough juice to keep it...
The only real difference (and the reason for this release, arguably) is that the KEX engine version can be ported to and sold on consoles.
The same can be done to the source port, sure, but there are no money to be made that way.
Pretty much the same deal as with Doom Absolution 64 and Powerslave Exumed - the original game was 2.5D, but the new engine is fully 3D, which allows to do away with a lot of hacks the original game would use.
Funny how no one seemed to be bothered with Dark Forces right until a source port...
Either bait or you have zero idea what you're talking about. I'll bite regardless.
Due to "ingenuity" of Apple (and total disregard of widely accepted tech for the last 6-or-so years), this thing goes Windows -> Wine -> Intel 64 -> Rosetta -> ARMv8.5-A for general stuff, and DirectX -> ??? ->...
Don't think it warrants the hate it gets here. It's just a display-agnostic Ambilight\bias lighting, which is neat (except for the price), considering there aren't many PC displays that have such stuff built-in.
Doesn't help that you can DIY with an Arduino or any other MCU (if you use Windows...
Polski gównokod being so świetny it makes PS5 cry in shame as it has to render the wielka polska duma using checkerboard, like the good ol' PS4 days.
I see it as a Шin.
Huh. The more you know.
Since the caches are derivative, I assume it's a big, nice, muddy grey zone. And as with any grey zone, the developers would take the safest route of not condoning.
The pre-rendered stuff doesn't display for some reason, the entire intro is just text on a black background. Cutscenes are real-time, although the game locks itself to 30 fps for the duration of the scenes.
Me thonketh the Android port is totally playable through an emulator, if you are willing to put up with mouse-only controls. The DS version should be totally playable too, but I imagine the multitasking might be even more painful than on an actual DS.
Yeah, on Obsidian's part.
I am kidding, of course, but Wilds was in developement since 2012 and released in May '19 (with free alpha available since 2015), while Worlds was in developement since 2016 and came out in October '19.
Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park
oh you mean the 3rd party apps on Kodi, yea i know what you mean, yea there are still a few cool ones, in fact watched the new planet of the apes movie other night w wifey thru one, was good pic surprisingly, not a cam
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
I had to find and get him an old style flip phone even without text, cause thats what he wanted. No text, no internet, only phone calls. Old, old school.
@BigOnYa, Lol I bought a new USB card reader thing on AliExpress last month for I think like 87 cents. Free shipping from China... It arrived it works and honestly I don't understand how it was so cheap.
