Hi,
I have damaged my switch's touch while soldering an internal modchip. This was not a problem yet, since I created the license before this happened and I did not need to use the boot menu of SX OS anymore. But for the emuNAND support, you need to create the virtual partition in the boot...
Did you backup at the very beginning, no config, no wireless, no game inserted? As soon as you put data into the filesystems, even when the data is deleted afterwards, the "0"'s are gone and a copy of the whole partition will result in bigger compressed images.
An Update to my Dongle: As you remember no USB-Stick or self powered harddisk is recognized. No trace from plugin in "dmesg". The only working device is the switch. I have now my switch back.
When plugging the switch in RCM in I see in dmesg (and payload boots up):
[ 70.353047] usb 1-1: new...
Mhh, then you are obviously right. It just sounded too similar. I just rechecked, on my 3G Wi-Fi Router I don't see any event or log (in dmesg) when I plug a USB stick (and no error at all). So this indeed looks different. I have now also checked with a self powering harddisk and it does not see...
No! As I wrote here:

Finally the injection will work! Just go ahead to the final firmware. You seem to have the same device as I got.
Best
My device (also with built in battery) does not power the USB port in the AP mode. It has 3 switch positions: off, power bank and AP. In power bank mode it only powers the USB (system is not booting) and in AP mode, the USB works but you don't get power. So a USB stick will not work. I logged in...
And actually it's not a hardware revision counting (yet). It's the firmware version on the switch. Did your cousin really never update the switch since he got it? Then it might be worth a little more.
Thanks for clarifying!
At first: It worked!
Two more things for other linux users: The detour with YASDU and trying to patch is unnecessary! There are only 5 partitions encrypted of the 11 and BCPKG2-2-Normal-Main (and BCPKG2-2-Normal-Sub) are unencrypted! And the second thing: there is the...
Hello,
I'm sorry to maybe ask dump questions, but I don't have any "Windows" machine. I only have Linux systems. So I try to find out *what* is the purpose of the steps and what are they doing, so I can find a solution for linux.
For the beginning: I am on firmware 3.0.0 and I want to patch...

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
