There are two ways to set up an EmuMMC right now:
(Keep in mind, this will all be obsolete within about 72 hours with the release of a new version of Hekate, and/or the release of...
Awesome. I restored back to my clean backup and followed your steps with updating and such. When you refer to merging into one, is there a tool for that or a way you recommend? I'm pretty familiar with the homebrew scene (started with ps2 back in the day) but I just want to make sure I'm doing...
Two questions:
1) Can an emummc be upgraded to a later firmware than your system nand? For being able to play cadence of Hyrule on a 5.1 system firmware for example.
2) Ideally the system nand should be updated and use the emummc for homebrew stuff. If I’m on 5.1 (fuses burned) and I upgrade...
I'm on 5.1 reinx (latest version) and I can't seem to get emuiibo working.
Everything is in the right place (including the amiibo stuff) but when I press the button combination in any game, nothing happens. I've even tried before booting as with botw.
I also tried to use amiiswap but I'm met...
could you in theory take the "unlimited" subscription and then repack it in the game so you dont need the subscription? once we figure out how to repack it
The new starlink - battle for atlas game requires amiibo like "toys" to unlock new content. I assume they are just NFC chips like amiibos. Any word on those being uploaded for NFC writers?
Is there an application for osx that allows proper copying of files and folders to a switch sd card? Currently folders created by osx arent detected on a switch at all. I can't currently run bootcamp or parallels unfortunately.
i figured out the issue, my memory card wasnt properly showing the reinx folder and none of the kips were listed. i fixed that but im still having an issue. There's a mod for more NES games on the classic NES game but anytime i boot up the game, with the correct folder located in reinx/titles...
One would think the titlekey becomes irrelevant in that hypothetical situation. The donor game has a titlekey and the host game is just being swapped via layeredfs. So the switch boots the original game (or so it think it does) but the files are swapped with the new game (Mario party for instance).
In the early days of the switch homebrew scene, using layeredfs, back ups of games were able to be played without the actual key (pre sxos as well). Could this hypothetically work with the preload version of Mario party?
whats the "goldenn save" for botw? It appears, from the name, to be a new game but it doesn't clarify the details on it. Are all the amibo stuff included? Higher durability master sword?
i own the latest just dance game for the switch and my daughter loves it. The premium service of unlocking all the songs (just dance unlimited) requires my switch to be online constantly and it’s a paid in the ass to restore and back up nands to try and prevent getting banned.
Any idea if this...
Cruisn on the Wii is one of my personal examples of that, it's considered one of the worst games of all time, I loved it and completed it several times.
