Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread
the public (non whitelist) link doesn't work anymore. is there still people whitelisting? I am asking because a friends wanted to get it but was too late (I luckily downloaded it about 2 weeks ago)- kevboard

Hacking I heard RetroArch runs in XB1 compatibility mode on the Series consoles.
there is such a thing tho. Xbox One games will use most of the performance the Series X brings with it, but it will still run in a GCN compatibility mode, which basically means the IPC improvements of RDNA2 will not be available, and of course hardware features it has are also not available...- kevboard

Hacking Retroarch for Retail is now available without a whitelist
there is an officially purchasable app on the Xbox store called "My Files Explorer" that also has full access to the whole file structure of the Xbox. it is on the store for years already and is even a paid app which costs about 3 bucks. so if that is an issue, they don't really do anything...- kevboard

The problem with X party blocked X bill that would have prevented X is that yes the bill probably would have worked great, buuuttt they put XYZDCBG in said bill as an attempt to sneak things in that tend to be completely unrelated to the original bills intent. It sucks because if they would just do a single thing they could probably get something done...
