You know what I'm done with reviving my bricked vWii. Its a good thing I'm still able to play Wii Games on my Wii U but the method is just different. And of course Dolphin exists as well.
Well great!! Some YAWMM refuses to uninstall the system menu wad!
@The Real Jdbye does formatting the Wii U also format the vWii? At this point my vWii could be irreparable.
I used Some YAWMM as a vWii Title. I think I may know why its still not unbricked. Uninstalling the IOS WADS doesn't seem to uninstall the IOSes themselves, which is what caused all of it. If I use Multi Mod Manager as a vWii Title and I uninstall the problematic IOSes, would that work?
I Installed all the clean vWii IOSes that NUSDownloader and WiiBrew had, changing the title ID and version numbers accordingly, then I installed the vWii System Menu WAD. But its still bricked!! What on earth am I doing wrong?! Was it the System Menu WAD?
Im very close to giving up at this...
-Installed all the clean vWii IOSes that NUSDownloader and WiiBrew had, changing the title ID and version number
-Installed vWii System Menu WAD
NOPE, STILL BRICKED.
I tried putting my Wii VC Game in my SD into the install directory using FileZilla, but for whatever reason the transfers kept failing partway through the process. So I decided to put the Wii VC game in a USB into the install directory and it doesn't show up at all. It only lists the ones in my...
I read the instructions and it starts up but then it loads into a black screen.
Then I restart it, boot the launcher channel and get this:
An error has occurred. Please turn off the Wii U Console and try again. Error code 199-9999
I used an internet browser method to access homebrew but the thing is I want a channel for it, but it only supports the newest version. The method installed 1.4, not 2.1. So how do I update 1.4 to 2.1?
This is what I used to get homebrew:
The file is too large so here is the video with the WADs, which is the Wii IOS WAD Pack:
I was trying to fix a black screen problem when booting into usb loader gx on the vwii menu with the forwarder and I thought this would help. It didn't.
I installed WADs of some IOSes using YAWMM and now my vWii is bricked. Needless to say, that was very stupid of me. I don't have a NAND backup so can anyone help me out?
