For me, last of us 2 had the worst story and pacing of all the games i've played. It felt forced. I hate it so much that I created a metacritic account just to get it off my chest.
from what I've seen, no micro-soldering is needed but I am not comfortable soldering so I am not sure I can install it on my own—nevertheless, still good progress for the scene. I am crossing my fingers for an easy install kit, but I won't hold my breath.
so the modchip itself is cheap. I can get it for around $4.6. If they do release the files needed to set it up, that will make all the other expensive modchips obsolete.
I still want to know how it's soldered tho. If it doesn't go to the CPU, I think it will be "safer". OR maybe we can have...
the success rate of 7.55 is waaay better than 7.51 in my experience and HEN works so I'm stoked!
It's been a while since i had a ps3 with cfw so im excited to learn more about the ps4.
i was hoping rossman levels of soldering but with all the videos showing up, i think i can do it with a detailed guide.. i wonder if clones are now making their move..
still hoping for a software solution though
so the emmc is removed and connected to the modchip.. interesting! i found a youtube video with images of the installation, it comes with chinese text and awful background music. lol
i'm not good with soldering so i am more excited for other hackers to use this hardware mod to explore software solutions..
i am tempted to buy a pre-modded switch now if they are not crazy expensive.
woah.. 8 pages in and we still don't have cfw wars? lmao
in all seriousness though, this could lead to software solutions and other stuff. People should be happy that at least we have progress. My ps4 on the other hand is still running ofw
