    Haha Ryccardo just before you replied I was thinking it could be the game card because for some reason my game cards keep disconnecting when still inside (either fault with dsi or game card) but I don't mind since I get roms off my game cards anyway. It did indeed fix it, thanks for replying!

    Thanks for replying. It doesn't make a "sound" when I open it. Sometimes when I open it it turns off and sometimes if I shake it it turns off. I haven't checked the battery but this problem only happens when running DS games so I'm not sure if thats the problem but I'll try it anyway.
