Man, that's unfortunate. Glad I got mine in early. I wonder if Nintendo got to Mod? Cease and desist? Totally understandable if that is the case.
Even getting burnt out makes sense. Doing a bunch of switches everyday for a couple month's gotta catch up to you at some point.
Ship just the tablet (so no joycons) and the modchip if you have it. Turnaround is a week, more or less. Really depends on the installer.
Mine took a week
I bought the mariko switch back in September and barely used it. Literally collecting dust right now. I'll admit, it was a bit of an impulse buy. Buying it early sort of paid off I guess considering the difficulty in finding one and the jacked up prices from resellers. Even then, I dont think...
Dont know if this is true or not, but if the regular switch really doesnt need soldering -- hell yeah! But if it does, I'm ready. A few years ago, I fixed a Samsung LCD monitor from 2009. Desoldered any blown capacitors and soldered new ones in. It powered on perfectly with no more black screen...
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
