Hacking Creating A Third Partition to Restore NAND Backup from Old Switch. A Good Idea?

Hacking Why Not Just Stay on Firmware 6.1.0 ? Seriously.
I'm in the middle of restoring a Switch I bought on eBay over a year ago to the NAND backup I had made that day. Never changed the firmware, it's on 6.1.0, has always had the right DNS. Hacking Figure Out Firmware of NAND Backup w/o Python?
I would love to use FVI by shchmue, but I can't figure out how to get Python working on Mac OS X, I get stuck somewhere around "pip install pycryptodome" and figuring out if I need biskeydump. Is there anything else I could do? I would ideally like to use FVI, but Python 3 is kicking my butt lol.- NotMyTempo
