    Hey, managed to get it working doing the nand recovery the manual way. but it was long and had to re read all the instructions and all. But got it working. Will update this thread later with what i had to do to get it working later. Took like 4 hours in all. mostly due to being careful

    hi, got this far on step 7. but I don't quite understand this step: ChoiDujour.exe --keyset=path/to/keys.txt path/to/firmware/file/or/folder I put my prod.keys in the main folder and used this command. My firmware file is in the main choidujour folder. I am probably doing something wrong here...

    i mean cfw like the bootrom stuff like hekate, biskeydump. only like stuff to extract information boots, like lockpick rcm. Not sure if that makes sense. but booting ofw doesn't work.

    @Hayato213 ok i'm following it. yeah i'll try. looks complicated but i've downloaded everything so far, i injected biskeydump and a smiley face shows, dumped the keys and now following the rest. hopefully it works. Because all the cfw payload stuff seems to run, just not ofw will keep updated...

    i'm guessing maybe the nand got coruppted or something. Maybe I left it on and it drained completely, but can't remember. So, only thing I can do is just launch hekate for now. But yeah i assumed restoring a nand back up of this current nand wouldn't do anything. So not sure what path to take now.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
