    PS2 Fat, best model for HDD?

    I'm looking to get a PS2 fat console to play games from HDD with the network adapter. What's the best version for this? I'm currently looking at 39001 and 50001 and I've seen conflicting information about reliability, fan noise, etc.

    I recently got back into cfw/flash carts and it seems every google result on the subject returns threads from gbatemp, so I decided to join up!
