Even the games that are on the official backwards compatibility list have substantial issues with crashes, stuttering, and low framerate. I would recommend the author of a thread to simply purchase an orginal Xbox.
I don't like the dependence on digital media as we have seen time and time again stores or servers get closed like the Wii, PSP, 3DS, Wii U, DSi, Original Xbox, PS2, Dreamcast, etc making content for each system potentially unobtainable.
I downloaded skyrim and it doesnt work whenever the internet is off. It says specifically "can't launch". I completed the license transfer today but the issue still persists.
