ive been trying to figure out a way to update the certs on the web browser so atleast sites that rely on lets encrypt will load but i don't know how to achieve that. its really easy to edit the rootca.pem on the wii u web browser so why can't it be done on 3ds?
i just looked looked for the name of the expired certificates and downloaded the newest certificate from the company who issued them. but now i have a issue that the certificates from google are in .crt or .pem and the ones from the rom are in .ca
im working on it. i extracted the dsi browser rom and found that the certificates are located in a folder labeled "ca" and i found that 14 of the certificates are expired so im going to try to find newer ones to replace them. hopefully it works
because i like having the programs on the homescreen rather than going into homebrew launcher. and plus if there was something like a theme store you'd go back to it frequently to try out themes
i managed to get some websites working again by adding new certificates to the rootca. if you want a copy of my updated rootca.pem i can link it. even when updating the certificates though most websites still give a error 112-1035 so this doesn't just automatically make the browser work on every...
