It works now, tested with TWiLightMenu v27.1.1 + nds-bootstrap v1.5.0. Thank you, shoco.

I can confirm, on my side it crashes on nds-bootstrap red screen after selecting the save file in game. The version of The Koopa Who Stole Christmas is 1.1.1, and I am on a New 3DS with TWL v27.0.0 + nds-bootstrap v1.4.3.

Now that I think of it, Crash of the Titans is another game that would benefit from the CPad patch.

For those who have the non-working gyroscope, perhaps this is the reason (read the last point). @2mono7, I have no more ideas in regard of this problem, I've already said all I could say during the discussion with Keefe29.

I’m sorry but I won’t make a video, the difference between the 8-directional movement and the 360º movement is clear. The CPad patch on Spirit Tracks works exactly as on Phantom Hourglass. The entire patching process is identical to Phantom Hourglass, so if you got it to work, the steps for...

I'm out of ideas at this point. Is your 3DS updated to the firmware 11.17.0? You can try to do a clean re-install of TWiLightMenu (delete \_nds folder and re-download it from Universal Updater or manually), but I doubt that doing so will solve the problem.

The CRC32 of mine Spirit Tracks (USA) D-Pad patched ROM is F846F7F3. In my opinion, yes, you’re doing something wrong in some way. I used this, the same that is mentioned in the main post of this thread.

The ROM file itself, you can use this site, for example. I used DeltaPatcher, it validates the checksum of the original file and refuses to apply the XDelta patch to a file different from the one it was made for.

Open TWiLightMenu settings, the versions are displayed there. The CRC32 is a checksum calculation method, you can find calculators online. The GameID of Phantom Hourglass (USA) D-Pad patched is AZEE-FD8A6DD1.

I tried The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (USA) with the D-Pad patch, I have no issues with the CPad patch (both the analog movement and the L + R + Down combination work); I am on a New 3DS with Luma3DS v13.0.2, TWiLightMenu v26.7.0 + nds-bootstrap v1.3.2, and TWPatch at 2023/07/22 build. The...

I know that I can try by myself, I asked to him because I think that he could see if the code really works as it should better than me, and 'cause may he can mention them in the main post since they are huge SM64DS mods.

shoco, can you take a look at The Koopa Who Stole Christmas (a new Super Mario 64 DS mod)? Maybe it works with the "USA v1.0" CPad patch like Another Super Mario 3D, but if you can check is better. EDIT: And also at Super Mario: The New Beginning Revival, I've just discover it!

I tried the main version of the patch, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (EUR) boots correctly on my side with both CPad solo version and CPad + CStick version. My configuration is the same that I told previously, the only difference is that have updated TWL to v26.2.0. Those depend on TWPatch build...

Just to say, I don't think that on my side the problem could be the microSD Card because it is a Official Nintendo Switch 128GB, that in the SanDisk "tier list" it's between Ultra and Extreme ones. Yes, it solves it, also for v2. On these two the fact that the CPad starts to work after a while...

Hacking Circle Pad patches for Super Mario 64 DS and other games (in TwilightMenu with TWPatcher and RTCom)

I have the firmware 11.17.0-50E and a New 3DS, maybe the firmware can be relevant but I doubt that the console model itself changes something. I hope someone else who can test it will come along. v1 - The Nintendo logo disappears after 10 seconds and there is a slowdown after other 10 seconds...

Hacking Circle Pad patches for Super Mario 64 DS and other games (in TwilightMenu with TWPatcher and RTCom)

With this version it boots correctly, I tried several times. The Nintendo logo appears immediately and disappears after precisely 10 seconds, and after almost other 10 seconds (so about 20 seconds from the boot) the game has a little slowdown/freeze (not longer than 2 seconds), but then it seems...
