This is going to be a stupid question but what is we try to manually change these text strings in the wad? would it work or would it fuck up entirely the Wii NAND?
I'm trying to install the patched versions of the Today and Tomorrow Channel and the Internet Channel provided by the RiiConnect24 patcher. Both of them failed, giving a -4100 error. I'm using YAWM ModMii edition to install these on a PAL Wii. Can someone say what does this error has to say? And...
I tried using the CUE and BIN files that came with the ISO and still nothing. Stuck with 0 FPS. I tried with the cue files of Silent Hill (NTSC-U) and it worked. Probably it's not compatible, even though it's weird since it's sprite-based games.
update: All of them worked on dynarec. Thank you :)
I know this is a bit awkward but when I'm trying to load any PS1 .iso file on WiiSXRX, instead of booting the game, it leads to me straight to the main menu of the BIOS. I tried with other roms and even with other BIOS but it gives the same result.
I'm using the latest build, which is the 3.3-FS...
so, I don't need to install directly to the system memory. But, what program do I use to load the games? And which file format do I need to use? (ex: .wbfs for the Wii)
I'm really new to the Wii U homebrew community, but not new in the Wii one. I'm used to just pop the game in a folder in my USB drive, load USB Loader GX and load it from there. To load Wii U games on a Wii U, is it the same or is it completely different?
I've been doing some research and I...
Yeah, I'm wondering if I can use it to play PS1 games, since I don't have a Classic Controller. If it is needed, I'll tell what model and brand it is. But when I plug it in in my Windows computer, it pops up as a generic controller.
In the end of the day, I used SaveGame Manager GX. It works.
And those wondering about save files, you need to create the save file in game, and only then you can transfer it.
Use SaveGame Manager GX, it's nice.
I have this old drive (Toshiba Canvio Basics 3.0) and since the usb flash drive got corrupted in a sector nad it's now useless. The external hard drive is formatted in NTFS with 1Tb of internal storage, with some things already in it. I luckly pasted the things that were in the usb flash drive...
yeah, I know I'm not gonna have HD. I actually like the low-resolusion of the Wii. It gives me nostalgia

So, I found the problem. As a kind of a dumb fuck I am, I forgot to check the AV pin connectors, and of all of them, guess what? The connector only has 4 pins...
yep, everything seems like normal. green light is on.
about cables, I do not have any spare cables. but I have a friend of mine that has a wii. maybe I could pass there with it.
I also checked the av port and the cable and is oddly clean. but the usb ports are another thing. gotta get some...
Hi :)
I recently got my hands in an old wii that my cousin had and I'm having some issues with the video or audio output.
As stated, the wii is not giving any video or audio input, even though it seems to load everything. Also it seems that it can read Wii discs (It doesn't do funky noises...
