just tried out my Ghost Trick dump on the newest nightly builds of TwilightMenu++ and nds-bootstrap, boots up and creates a new save just fine. my ROM's SHA256 is 70893FAD64333CF2CA12A9C332D5E2D3E83BCAE4AAC31D7EB635AC320F240685. could this just be a bad dump? shouldn't be hard to find a good...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

there are no "best settings", everything comes with a caveat, but there are a few helpful things to know. you more or less need a N3DS. you can change the priority factor to prioritize the top screen (or bottom one if needed) and you can lower image quality.

Hacking Is 256 GB safe, and more!!

i've been using a 256GB Kingston SD ever since my previous card got corrupted (9 months ago). no issues apart from increased Twilight Menu load times. as for it being easier to corrupt, you should just take good care of the card and back up your saves just in case. i've had no issues so far in...

i cant play warioware gold from hshop

custom-install requires your boot9.bin, a seeddb.bin and your movable.sed. do you have those?

    Can no longer boot

I believe that means that you have lost all of your installed games & save data. pro tip: don't delete backups. to put it simply, .cia files are just containers for apps/games and installing them behaves the same as downloading apps/games from the eShop, meaning that they install to the...

    Can no longer boot

oh, I didn't see that the .bak was on the NAND, my bad. no idea why it's there. I've checked the GM9 Megascript, setting up Luma to NAND doesn't back up the existing boot.firm. the only feasable way for it to be there is either OP making a mistake and copying it over manually or corruption, but...

    Can no longer boot

IIRC, CTGP-7 renames your existing "boot.firm" to "boot.firm.bak" and downloads an updated one when updating Luma through it. could be that, it could also be some other updater or OP creating the backup on their own.

    Persona 1 & 2 best Versions?

from what i've gathered, Persona 1 PSP with a PSX music patch is the preferred way to play the first game as the PSX localization sucks. as for P2, most people play the PSP versions for convenience but they are said to be easier than the PSX versions (especially innocent sin). keep in mind that...

    Hardware analog stick not working

i was replacing my screen yesterday (psp 3k) after which my analog stick randomly stopped working. no inputs register, except a very slight chance it might get stuck and start inputting down-right. i thought that the ribbon cable for the stick must've disconnected, but reconnecting it didn't fix...

Should upgrade my microsd card for 128gb to 256gb if going useing 3ds banks for alot of homebrew VC injections an 3ds "Backups"

i'd say that many if not most 3ds users use open_agb_firm instead of vc injection for gba games, and i have had no problems with it and a 256GB sd card.

Should upgrade my microsd card for 128gb to 256gb if going useing 3ds banks for alot of homebrew VC injections an 3ds "Backups"

i use a 256GB Kingston Canvas Select Plus in my n3dsxl, it has been serving me well so far (~5 months). i also used a 128GB Samsung EVO Select but it got corrupted and died on me. keep in mind that, even with quite a few roms, the 3ds shouldn't really need more than 128GB (unless you have a ton...
