Can someone please help me restore my account ID?
I reset my account ID on my CFW PS3 on accident not knowing what it does and now I can't play red dead redemption 1 due to mismatching account ID's. I have a backup of my PS3 saves with the original account ID and I have my xregistry but it is saved from after I changed my account ID.... I've...- Bentheminernz

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.+1

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
