Thanks, great explaination!
I got another question. When I look at my Nand backup from before setting up EmuNand, the "eMMC RAW GPP" map is empty...since I have games and used my emuNand, is it possible to do a clean sysNand backup now or am I screwed?
I'm a bit confused by the hekate_ipl.ini file. I have seen some people have the different "Atmosphere fss0 CFW", "Atmosphere fss0 OFW" launch option in Hekate, while I got "CFW -sysMMC", "CFW -emuMMC", and "stock - sysMMC".
I have tried to read about the difference but im not sure what is the...
When I read the guides on how to backup NAND,I got confused. There is a option in Hekate tools, which are toogle on "SD emuMMC Raw Partition". What does it do? Should it be "on" or "off"?
What happens if I restore the NAND with the "off" option?
I bump this thread since I have a similar problem. I uppdated the firmware of the CFW to 16.0.3 (Atmosphere 1.5.4) using Daybreak and after that I´m not able to enter OFW. It is just a black screen.
I´m however able to enter SysNand and can see the firmware is 15.0.1 (Atmosphere 1.5.4). Should I...
I will do it. So you mean only on CFW sysNAND and not stock?
Do I get banned even if I not connected to internet/wifi?

So it means that it is not possible to boot OFW if the firmware on sysNAND is lower than emuNAND?
The firmware is 16.0.3 (uppdated by transfer the file via usb). Not sure how to check that, I checked "Hw & fuses info" and it says " burnt fuses (odm 7/6)".
I managed to fix the problem by trying to access the RCM multiple times and inject Hekate payload!
But I ran into another problem, I cant access stock firmware. When I shut down the switch and start it again, it shows only a black screen.
It seems that I have a similar problem. I tried to find the threads about the batteries but could not find them. Could you point me in the right direction?
I followed the homebrew guide on my unpatched Switch and it went smoothly. Then I installed Tinfoil and NUT to transfer games until I realized that the Tinfoil was installed on sysMMC and not emuMMC. I connected to the Wi-fi, but I did not opened E-shop.
