I took the latest script_fix.txt I had in our Dropbox (edited 2014-03-11) and did a bunch of regex find-replace to remove text not in the actual game. (No comments, no literal translation, no Japanese text). And Notepad++ tells me there's 14,254 words in the translation. This count isn't perfect...
If you want to get in touch in the future, I recommend posting in this thread rather than PMing me. PMing means I wont see it until I log in, which could take a year. Other people can help too if it's public.
Got asked this via PM back in March 2022:
> Hello there! I am currently in the...
Personally, I don't think sexual harrassers should enjoy my work or any peace whatsoever, not without at least trying to repair the harm they've caused. Glad to see you're being the bigger person and not caring about the kind of trauma that sexual harassment causes. Good stuff.
This is my first time learning of this tool. What's the history of it? Is there a GBARunner1? I really like hacking/homebrew history and I can't find anything about how this was created.
Bumping with a bummer.
This post is solely my opinion; I haven't consulted with anyone else who worked on this translation.
I just found out Nick Robinson made a video about this translation. The video is months old at this point. I'm not a subscriber, so I missed the video.
Nick has been...
I haven't tested it, but this link is supposed to be a patch for a no-touch Rhythm Heaven DS.

Oh, sorry then.
Look at the original font hack IPS. That hacks the font and nothing else. It should patch a specific section of the ROM that has the font. I edited that with CrystalTile2.
Best I can say is look at the source code.

Thanks.
I don't know of a non-Google translate version of that site. Maybe someone in this thread partially translated it and posted it here. I'm not sure.
There are two versions of the ROM, which we didn't know until late in development for the game. You can search the thread for more info and potential solutions. The one we use has these checksums/hashes:
crc32: 349d7025
sha1: 67f8adacff79c15d028fffd90de3a77d9ad0602d
sha256...
We have edited graphics for some or all of those. I can't remember if they were inserted in our private version.
That's just a decision I made. I think it's what Nintendo would do if they translated Rhythm Heaven GBA. There are multiple mini games that have the same theme, but different...
That's going to be tough. You need the patched ROM to get onto your iPad somehow.
From the OP of this thread: "The title of this hack is Rhythm Heaven Silver. Why Silver? In short, because this game's sequel was called Rhythm Heaven Gold in Japan. The name also had zero Google results before...
Minor update to the OP that tells people source code is in the download as well.

"Patch with source code" should have the tools used. If not, maybe a readme in there explains everything...
In short, I'm not interested in making the patch work on v1.
Thanks for pointing out this problem. I'm not sure I even knew there was another ROM version. The easiest way may be to come up with a v1 -> v2 patch for Tengoku, then run the patch on v2 as normal.
If you look through the source...
Share whatever you want! The source code is all posted and everything, so if you're ambitious you can even make the changes yourself. I remember Built to Scale being a weird one for our hackers, but I think they finally figured out how to edit it. I won't be doing anything technical-wise for at...
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
