Game looks decent. Battle system is like the 2D Tales of games. Guessing they are using the same engine. Makes sense since the Tales of games are from the same company.
If you like shows such as Resident Evil, The Witcher, Halo, etc that do not respect the original source material/lore, make shit up, and checks a lot of checkboxes, this show is for you.
My guess is it may take a lot of money, time and effort to merge the two systems, and it's a lot cheaper with this current set up. In other words, to maximize profit since Microsoft already spent billions of dollars with this acquisition.
Video thumbnail shows a lot of characters that fits a bunch of checkbox, which usually tells me that the game studio worked with a DEI consultant firm. Instant skip for me.
That's a fair point. Though I'm sure that there are Smash fans that enjoys competitive Smash but got lumped in with some bad eggs that caused the Smash community to have bad reputations.
John Riccitiello is part of the reason for the whole install fee debacle. The board members that are still at Unity is also the reason for the bonehead decision. So it's still not safe to trust Unity.

Don't know what you are talking about since Square Enix like any other gaming companies never told the public what their expectations were be it high end or low end. The only thing we know is since they didn't meet expectations, this caused their stock to drop.
To be fair, the last F-Zero game didn't sold that well nor did the F-Zero franchise in general which doesn't give Nintendo any confidence in developing a new actual game any time soon. Plus, Nintendo already have another racing franchise (ie. Mario Kart). Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold and is still...
Oof. Think this will be another FF XVI disaster when it comes to sales. Recent reports says FF XVI, which is locked to PS5 as time exclusive, did not meet expectation and Square Enix's stock tanked because of it.
I seen a bunny rabbit get swept up and taken by a hawk yesterday in my back yard, it left a bunch of rabbit hair in grass. Wild to see it fly off carrying a rabbit.
