Whilst this isn't directly "homebrew" related, it'd still be good for unleashing new life into SmileBasic.

For those that don't know, the only official way of sharing files for SmileBasic is via their official portal, which is limited unless you pay extra, and doesn't let you copy files back to your PC (or import PC files back into SmileBasic, if, for example, you want to use a better text editor, or bitmap editing tools)

There are workarounds, such as the PetitModem tool (that people may be familiar with if they previously used the Smilebasic entrypoint) which slowly transfers data via audio, but there must be better ways.

When you start a Multiplayer game session with SmileBasic, the hosting 3DS creates a Wifi AP, with a hidden SSID and a password. If these could be cracked, then it'd open the door for allowing a PC to connect into a multiplayer session, which would allow data to flow both ways - i.e. easily import/export data files, and also potentially act as a web proxy, to allow SmileBasic programs to access the internet.

What's needed is someone with two 3DSs both running SmileBasic, and a PC/Laptop capable of running a wifi sniffer (i.e. have Kali Linux running of a flash drive), that'd be able to sniff the traffic and crack the SSID name and password for the AP.

Is anyone able to help?

Just be careful, if trump ends up winning and using project 2025 America might really change...for the worse.
