Thing is, SVDT allowed you to dump your save file as multiple files. For MK7: this is what it looked like:
(folder) replay (folder) replay_ (file) systemx.dat (file) systemy.dat The replay folder is where all ghosts are stored. Ghosts are stored as replayxx.dat, with xx standing for track ID. replayxx.dat contains the character you used, tires, kart, glider, your Mii's name, and your inputs during the TT. I'm not sure what the replay_ folder is used for, however. systemx.dat and systemy.dat stores your VR, Wins, Losses, Coins Collected, StreetPass Tags, as well as recent players that show up in the "Friends/Opponents" menu in online mode. systemx.dat and systemy.dat can be a combination of numbers, like system3.dat and system4.dat, etc. The numbers on each file are different, obviously. I'm mostly interested in StreetPass Tags, as a known code only goes up to 255. The rest of your stats can be simply edited using Huntereb's MK7 trainer.
Does Checkpoint allow you to view your saves as folders/files, and insert files into your current save? That's what SVDT did, and that's how I dumped my MK7 ghost data, and ninja grill game data. They aren't in .sav (or whatever Checkpoint uses).
I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

FMA seemed more metaphysical. Like Alchemy was a mysterious comic phenomenon, that gave you an experience.
In brotherhood it seemed more direct. Like there was a "god of alchemy that" one met. And it liked humbling people
