in my routers options the internetaccess for my wii was restricted. that was the failure i didn't see.

Hello, I kinda have same problem. I have an internet connection problem. I connect fine to wifi and says its connected. When I exit to main and then HBC it disconnects and says that the connection is wired w/o me making any changes. If you have any idea of what causes this please let me know. Thank you.

Is your connection supposed to be wireless? And also if anyone read this. I already updated my Wii to 4.3E using modmii and it still gives me this error.
