How to fix Wii remote not recognised and connected when playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii (or any other NSMBW hacks).

So, when I tried playing NSMBW, my Wii remote is not being recognised, I must’ve done something to prevent the Wii remote from being recognised when playing NSMBW or the hacks of that game. How do I fix this issue?

Don't have a solution (yet.)

There should be a homebrew application which can fix this issue. But I don’t know.
