What the title says, I recently downloaded a game but when decompressing the file I ended up with an empty folder, only to realize the files are all hidden similar to how PS Vita system files work, is there a way to force unhide them?

It uses nonpdrm format actually..vpk won't be hidden in the pc
That’s not really what I meantYes there is an option in windows explorer to always show hidden files and folders, if you are talking about the vita itself then my FTP client (winscp) shows hidden files and folders by default
Dos commands and file attributes look it upThat’s not really what I meant [emoji28]
I can access these files and folders when I unhide hidden files in Folder settings but I was wondering how to remove the hidden behavior on these specific files? Right click and uncheck hidden does not work on Vita files and folders... I’m using windows 7 if it makes any difference.
I looked it up earlier they mentioned this solution but it was for when affected by a computer virus so I wasn’t sure if it works and didn’t wanna risk it, thanks, I’ll look into it.Dos commands and file attributes look it up

I looked up a tutorial and it worked, since I’m not very experienced in cmd I had to do it manually with every file but it worked, I wonder if this works on the PS Vita system files, probably too risky to try.Well that's what it's called when u want to change file attributes
So I just create the .pat file and place it in the Vita memory and files will show up normally?Make a new text document, paste this and save it as a batch file (.bat) ...
Thats the way i do it, if i connect my vita over usb, works great.

I always use USB not FTB and I get it now, thanks, will look into it.No, you have to create a blank text document under windows and save it as xxx.bat ...
You have to connect your vita over USB to "unhide" all files.
Its only useful if you use USB instead of FTP with VitaShell.
USB can't let u see all drives while FTP canI always use USB not FTB and I get it now, thanks, will look into it.

Seriously? All this time I thought it requires an internet connection and because of my download cap I’d just avoid it.Ftp has nothing to do with your internet connection
