I recently purchased a R4i HDSC flash card for my nintendo DSi. I really wanted to play the game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days. I like the Japanese voices, but I do not know Japanese. I found an undubbed rom. However when I try to load the rom I receive an error "Failed to load, errcode=-4. Please reset system". This error occurs only when I try to load the undubbed rom. The european and japanese ones work just fine.
So after a bid of digging it looks like that unpacking and repacking the rom (to replace the files needed for the undub) breaks the rom. I tried using dsbuff v1 Final and DSlazy v0.6, but both break the rom after repacking even if I just do a unpack/pack without changhing any files.
The interesting part is that the roms themselves work just fine when loaded with desmume. The undub just doesn't work on the real DSi.
Does anyone know of newer apps that can pack/unpack roms or has successfully undubbed KH 358/2 days or has a working rom, can you please share?
