I've been adding new characters to MKWii but I've seen at least a handful of character mods which include voice packs, but the voice folders are full with .wav files. I can't just replace the .brwsd and .brbnk files with .wav files, and while the game does use .wav files, most of a character's sfx are in the .brwsd or .brbnk format.
My question is, what am I supposed to do with these .wav files? I've Googled multiple times for a converter, guide, or another gbatemp thread but I haven't seen anyone adress this issue. Surely, there must be a way to convert these files. I wish the converter (or other method) was more accessible and perhaps linked by modders if they only include a set of .wav files. I've modded Dixie Kong into MKWii by now, and the only thing missing are the voice files, which I had assumed to be ready to replace the old files, but only once I modded her in, I realized that I couldn't add the voice lines. She sticks out like a sore thumb now.
Please let me know if you know what to do with the .wav files
