Hello GBATemp!!
For two days now I have been trying to swap out some sprites in Pokemon Black. I've been trying to do this using Tinke, and I can successfully open the ROM, extract the files, and replace them with new ones within the editor. Unfortunately, no matter what I try, Tinke (I am using the Ultimate build that was last updated December 2021, though I have also tried older versions) refuses to cooperate when I try to click the "Pack" button. The file stays uncompressed, so naturally when I've tried saving the ROM, none of my changes have carried over. No other editors seem capable of opening the extracted NARC folder, so I can't swap them out manually and repack them in something else, either. I'm at my wit's end here, I have no idea what could be wrong and extensive Googling has turned up nothing.
If anyone is at all familiar with how Tinke unpacks and repacks ROMs, your help would be greatly appreciated!
