Hacking Turned off Wii U after starting vWii process

Hi,
So my Wii U is already modded and I decided I wanted to try to use the vWii mod for the virtual Wii. After doing the initial steps:

1. Launch wuphax
2. Press (A) to backup your Mii Channel and inject the Hackmii Installer
3. You will be returned to the Homebrew Launcher
4. Use the (Home) button to exit to the system menu
5. Launch vWii

With step 5 you need a wii remote. Long story short I thought I would mod it now before my wii remote comes and I didn't notice I needed it right now to continue process. I turned off my wii u unit and have a backup Miichannel on my sd card now. My system with Wii U and Haxchi all still work fine.
Can I just continue where I ended off at #5 when I get my controller or must i do step 1 and 2 again(the inject) and then go into the vWii?

You don't have to re-do step one and two as long as you don't restore the mii channel. Nevertheless, keep the wuphaxbackup.app somewhere safe.
