The Switch is made to do one thing, and overclocking allows it to do that one thing better. Plus, we get perfect PSX and N64 emulation with a slight boost. Not sure why this remains confusing...
Unlike phones, the thing has active cooling, so worst comes to worse the fans will kick in in handheld, which is rare with the stock under clock.
I'd love to know what magic you guys think is in the dock that allows for the massive, official overclock.
And I've been saying it for awhile now, but once Nintendo needs to, I guarantee that they'll have official 1st part games (or official GCN and Wii VC) that boost the clocks, will be interesting to see what people come up with then.
