Wii menu turns it off

Whenever my wii turns on it immediately goes to standby mode. I can still get to the priiloader menu and the homebrew channel. However when I close either by booting into system menu my wii just turns off.

No it just goes immediately into standby mode with the yellow light

Small diagnosis:
1. You installed something wrong.
2. You have a wrong system menu.
Since your NAND is still bootable and you can get to the homebrew channel, change your theme to the default using a theme changer or uninstall the most recent thing you installed. That may fix it.
