ffmpeg -i rec_XXXX.avi -vf "transpose=2" out.mp4

To celebrate the new year, the video capture feature is now provided to be tested. The new feature is contained in the NTR cfw as a matter of now, however, it might be released as a plugin separately after being completed.

Hold the R and ↑ button anytime you want to capture videos ,and the new 3DS will capture and store the 30 seconds long video before you press the buttons into SD card.

Yes,the gameplay before you press the buttons, and about 30 seconds long !Just like what Nintendo Switch does. Using this new feature, you will be able to capture highlights of your gameplay and share them to your friends.

PS
1. There are limits to this new feature, only New 3DS can use it,and audio will not be recorded.
2.How to use it. After lauching NTR CFW, hold X+Y button to get to menu and select Enable Quick Record to activate the video capture. After that you can hold R and ↑ button anytime to save the video.
3.When capture is started, pink color will flash on your screen, while the capture will be end after green screen appears.
4.The video recorded will be save to the root of SD card and in AVI format. As the limit of hardware, the video will be 90° rotated, and coded in MJPEG. You can use ffmpeg to convert it to MP4.
The command should be

ffmpeg -i rec_XXXX.avi -vf "transpose=2" out.mp4

In what part of the menu the option "Enable Quick Record" has to be available? Because i send the archive of the top post on the root of the SD card and nothing changed. Or was i doing something wrong?

Amazing. Can't believe this is even possible. I wonder how hard audio recording would be to implement. Either way, I can keep it plugged into my PC for audio capture.

Odd question, how does yours look so much better? Mine's an overall lower quality and much blurrier, while yours looks overall sharper.
Maybe it has something to do with how Streamable compresses the video? Here is one from Sm4sh, it looks much nicer than what I have locally: https://streamable.com/g5ahp I have attached the converted MP4, try to compare it with the Streamable video.

Hmm for me it's not even recording it starts and stops.
Are you still remaining that issue?

I'd like to know if there's someone here can help me with this question.

I've got all NTR releases from Nanquitas, put that .bin on /3ds/BootNTRSelector/ and renamed it to ntr_3_6.bin. But i can't even record my screen without an interruption by 30s.

It's completely random, sometimes it records 30s, 20s, 1s, none, etc. I want to know if there's something wrong with my New 3ds XL.

My specs:

New 3ds XL 11.8
LUMA 9.1
Only "Enable Game Patch" is checked on luma menu.

Please, let me know if i did something wrong. I really loved that screen recorder feature and need help to get it.

Thanks in advance!

Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.

But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
