Hi I am using Haxchi on a EUR console. Sorting works fine except for a few games. But after restarting the console the sorting is gone. Can I save it somehow?

I can't believe Nintendo didn't do the same thing with the Wii U, that they did with the 3DS; allow you to save, up to 8 different layouts of icons/folders on the home menu.

Getting an error IOSUHAX_open failed while running the app on sysnand
When something that uses IOSUHAX doesn't work, the first thing I try is running it under Mocha instead of Haxchi sysmenu. If you're not running either of those, that's probably the problem.

This is working great.

Any chance you could expand it to sort the games listed under the system settings internal and/or USB memory? Would make it much easier to find and delete a game or save file.

Thanks!

Hi Yardape8000, first of all thank you so much for such a handy app specially since there is a bug on the Wii U menu.

I would like to ask you about the sample file that was supposed to be included, where can I grab it? Thank you!

i have one question if you don't mind:
i'm using a hard drive and i have sorted and put all my icons in subfolder as i wanted to be.

2 times append, if the hard drive is disconnected and reconnected while the wii is ON, all the icons are spreaded out the subfolders unsorted.

So i know i can't set a sort as i did, making a copy of the system file with the correct sort, and put back when this apped could resolve my problem you think ?

beside, what is the file system you change to sort the icons ?

thanks for the answer.

I love this.

I am right at the 300 title limit across the built in storage and a usb drive. This sorts it all very quickly.

Thanks!

For some reason it sorts 80% of my installed titles, the first 6 pages are unsorted, after page 6 they are sorted. I got 300 titles installed, tested it also on drives with less titles but there it also sort like 80% and the first pages are still a mess.
Would love to sort this out^^

Also it would be very nice if you could except folders for sorting. This would be my favourite homebrew if it works :P

Still, great work again, i'm sure my sorting problem got something to do with custom titles or something. But if someone can help me i will be very glad.

I just installed a bunch of gamecube vc injects. I put them in their own folder, and when I went to sort them, they were removed from the folder and placed back on the main menu, unsorted :/

Plus all bios are set up and usually includes at least 128gbs or 64

Yeah but if your main goal is just to play n64 and GameCube you can save about $50 and have the portability option

True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display

For that texasroo guy, I'd recommend the Spell and speak as his first system.

So they buy a pi5 kit for about $150 and say a 28" 4k display probably looking around $400 total
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They'll be getting in the territory of portable Pcs anyway

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.

They could use HD out on their TV no real need for a monitor these days tbh the purists will disagree

I'm kind of phasing out on the need for wanting all these consoles cool to have but they just become dust build ups
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.

I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
