Dear diary that makes me look like a wuss,
So today I went to St. Louis after a good long time. Didn't do much since a friend of mine was on the fence about going or not and it was mid 12 when we left after he had finally made up his mind. Went to the Planetarium/Main Science Museum, Jay's to pick up a kinder egg and other goodies, some other international store next to Blue Ocean/Delmar Hall, and then Blue Ocean. So right outside of Delmar hall while we were waiting on the full group to get to the area that we were at before we went to blue ocean, there was a pipe that I had decided to sit/lean on since my driver was parked about 2 blocks away and I've been walking all day and then some guys walked up to us.
However onto the juicy parts that was the HIGH light of the day(I'll see myself to the exit) one guy asked my driver if he wanted 2 for $10 and he was like no and then there was a guy that was right behind him that said directly to me "You here for some weed?". I also said no. As I'm typing this I start to think how I could be a guy that they are looking for as I look COMPLETELY out of place in St. Louis. I didn't even look homeless either unless if they only looked at my beard. I looked like a modern amish with steel toed boots and a baseball cap, my driver did kinda look like a druggie, but he wasn't. Then again, the weed that they were trying to sell was less than $10 and I know a couple of stoner friend that would insta tell me that it was garbage weed. Probably just trying to make a quick buck. However I did learn something from that. Keep moving in St. Louis and you won't look like someone that is looking for weed or a good time. In Chicago, look forward, not off to the sides and beggars won't keep asking you for change as they will think that you didn't hear them and not actually thinking that you are trying to ignore them. I had actually learned that one fairly early. I would help them, but I'm in a similar situation that they are in as a college student. That reminds me, I need to pay for my last semester of the college that I am currently going to fairly soon. Then I will transfer to a Uni to major in MIT. I would go for CIT, but I'm liking the whole syslinux management thing. Then in the future, MS in Cybersecurity/Cryptology.
Other than that, Blue Ocean had pretty good food. It was fairly expensive, but it was a bowl of shiitake mushrooms, noodles, an egg, and some fried shrimp that looked and tasted good. I'm no weeb even though I used to be before 2015/2016, my friends are, and I don't even want to try to butcher the spelling of the name. I didn't ask for a fork though since I have a Chinese sibling and I knew how to use chopsticks because of that. That will be a story for a later day and we will be going to the mall of america soon so I'll cover that there as well.
