So today, the boss of the laboratory treated us employees, yes, on my 8th day of employment
They brought us a food truck and paid the lunch to all employees
Today's menu? A variety of hamburger and poutine (a meal from the province of Quebec)
High gastronomy, i know
A bit more explanation on my job's tasks
I mentionned last week that I would resupply personal protection equipments stations and assist at the animal food station.
So far, I haven't been trained yet at the food station, but I've been tasked to do many other things
Empty all garbage bags, take them to a compressor, pass the drymop around the vivarium, pass the wetmop in some rooms, clean the elevator
I've also been taught to use the Zamboni, and I must admit, I drive VERY badly, I constantly hit walls xD
That's it for today.
I don't think I'll make any other blog about the job except when they'll treat us since it'll be pretty much the same thing everyday
Maybe I'll make one when I'll finally be trained at the food room
