It hurts. And it's the upper part. :( Just gotta post this to remember this day. Gotta keep being happy. Edit, into more content: I guess the pain also has a purpose, it is there to remind you that you have to relax. This thing on my back is stress, and is there for a reason, I...
Yeah, by 16 riding the bus to school isn't cool anymore, but with gas prices how they are it's the only option when the school's 20 miles away. Anyways, in the past two years our bus has had 5 or 6 different drivers, because we raise so much hell that most drivers switch buses pretty quick. For...
Entry Four: I know I didn't post in my blog yesterday but I had nothing to say. But today I do. Sitting in front of me today is the newly released Hijouguchi: Exit DS. Here are my narrow minded and rather bias views on this game after only playing 2 hours of it Hijouguchi: Exit DS I have...

I have been contempleting this for a few days now, and now it has materialized in the form of a blog post. Every month to two months I will have a giveaway. Yay! I will usually offer video games, but sometimes I will also offer other video game related stuff. Some months will be better than...
As with any project, it's good to take incremental steps leading up to the final product. That's exactly what homebrew developer Auraomega has been doing with the Project4 XMB application for the Sony PSP. For those who may be unfamiliar with Auraomega's brainchild, Project4 XMB is basically an...
So I finally placed an order at a place that delivers, and my new flashcart, a Cyclo DS, is on its way. Previously I've had an M3 Simply and an R4, both of which have broke. The first cart I got was the M3 Simply, which I received on the 1st of January last year. It worked great for months...

<span style='font-size:30pt;line-height:100%'>Newspaper front page for GBAtemp staffer</span> extra extra! I think the headline explains it well enough. This is the first front page story I've ever had published. It happened last week. It's about a lovely lady and prominent member of the...
Do you care about people? I do. Why?, I'm not entirely sure I know the answer. This like many things in my life is still a mystery to my own self. As it has been my whole life it is, or at least that is what I believe, that how I feel is not entirely up to to me, I have realized that even as I...
Good evening Tempers. I got in some good gaming hours today, and I think I should share my progress with you. When I came home from school I directly headed for my xbox to play Blue Dragon. I'm about six hours in now and I just acquired Marumaro. He's a rather annoying character, and I think...

Sony has just announced that they'll be postponing the Japanese release of Skype for the PSP which was originally set for late January, due to some issues with Sony's official microphones. It seems that the microphone's components failed in meeting some of Skype's necessary certifications. Sony...

Do you play Bleach 2? Do you like it's music? I do... both. So my internet provider decided to fail on me today. I thought it would be a good time to do something useful :yayds: Instead playing games, I started to rip songs of that pretty cool fighting game that is Bleach 2. I enjoy it's music...
Today I almost had an heart attack (kidding) but I was very depressed. Because out of nowhere my ds lite stopped to work. It didn't eaven light a diode after turning power on button, and when I attached my ds lite into charger the "charging light" turned off after 2 seconds. I tried it eaven...
A new draft of the HTML 5 specification is available at this address. The changes are huge  It's fully basically backwards compatible, which is good; but there are tons of new additions. These sections impressed me most: 3.1. New Elements especially the INPUT part and the audio/video...

Mirror from http://deufeufeu.free.fr/devblog/?p=5 : Maybe some of you are aware that I'm currently in the process of coding a gtk-like widget library. This is a long process because I want it to be easily used by anyone.Right now there's a basic widget system, with buttons, labels, box for...

@BigOnYa, and since the default emulator is below average i downloaded some "replacements" like snes9x for snes games for example
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
And I also have my ps3
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea ps3 is a beast still to today compared to most "sticks"
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you just want pi for emulation no point when Anbernic releases new shit every two seconds
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
What's really cool about Pi's tho is you can have multiple SD cards with different OS on each SD card and change from say a gaming machine to a full fledged pc if wanted
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Plus all bios are set up and usually includes at least 128gbs or 64
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah but if your main goal is just to play n64 and GameCube you can save about $50 and have the portability option
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
For that texasroo guy, I'd recommend the Spell and speak as his first system.
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
So they buy a pi5 kit for about $150 and say a 28" 4k display probably looking around $400 total
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They'll be getting in the territory of portable Pcs anyway
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They could use HD out on their TV no real need for a monitor these days tbh the purists will disagree
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm kind of phasing out on the need for wanting all these consoles cool to have but they just become dust build ups
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    ack my throat
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I need to invest in some storage totes tbh
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Tots?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Tootles
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:

I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox.
