A Salute To All The Switch Guinea Pigs!!

I just want to salute all the Switch hacking guinea pigs out there! Thank you for bricking your Switches, getting banned, and screwing up your Switch in countless other ways so that when the time comes for me to hack the Switch, there will be an easy, proven, and safe method to work with. In the meantime, for all of you who are wrecking your Switch in the persuit of game piracy glory, I salute you...

Nice bait pleb. I'll be here enjoying my Switch with SX OS Pro, then i'll buy another switch tablet and Smash for the cost of about 2 games come december. So I can have smash online, a modded switch able to house 20 pirated games, and an unmodded switch for games I really want to buy and play online.

We've learned only one thing about bans: everything gets you banned.

Fairly useless information if you thought you'd learn how to get around it.

@xpoverzion

Tell you what, son. I`m sure we all have positive things to bring to the forum environment and we can contribute in a positive way. But the thing you should bring is silence.

Yes you can claim victory when there's an easy,safe and proven method in 3 to 5 years. Also you're welcome.

u dare insult those brave people who sacrificed honourably their Switch ''pigs''? man u are ded to me, u are ded to gbatemp

@leon315 guinea pigs have been used in animal testing/science research for hundreds of years, and has become a phrase for things sacrificed for testing purposes.

That said I am with the OP, though I dare say not much in the way of useful data has been generated from said users and thus it is only the enjoyment of the users that has been gained rather than useful knowledge.

@FAST6191 i knew it. we need a little more drama for gbatemp since there aren't much exciting things recently on gbatemp :)

There will be more. You can't force these things though.

That said I am surprised at the lack of such things. Dare I ponder whether people have taken "you hack, you risk a ban" to heart and know that worse still that these are bodged together early stage hacks.

"so that when the time comes for me to hack the Switch, there will be an easy, proven, and safe method to work with"

You could die tomorrow, in two days, even today.

I salute you, and your stupid way of thinking.

Is it a stupid way of thinking?

Let others that really want it use the early code, provide endless amounts of testing and lead to fixes. It is the standard open source model, and also one enjoyed by a lot of closed source people as well (though maybe with less extremes in bugginess and difficulty in using it). No reason why it would not apply here.
