a short entry about my brother, Peyton

my brother just got expelled from our school. what for, you might ask? he got expelled because he had his butterfly knife trainer with him. when my mom went to the office to prove that it wouldnt cut others, it actually cut her wrist when she showed them. turns out my brother had sharpened the trainer.

god, what an idiot.

Is your mum alright? Sounds rough for her. On a somewhat related note, what on earth is a butterfly knife trainer? Like those ninja shoes that have a knife in the toes? lol

@scarlet yeah, she's alright. a butterfly knife trainer is just an unsharpened butterfly knife. it isn't pointy at the tip either. they're mainly used for tricks and whatnot. i have one too, but i won't sharpen it.

OHHHHH, trainer as in a knife for training. I thought you meant like a knife that's inside a shoe lol. Good to know she's alright though.

It can't get any worst than that. Oh wait, it can *CNN intensifies*.
No offense to your brother, but really dumb move. Unless you're the school punk, why would you bring a butterfly knife to a US public school?

i constantly told him to stop bringing it to school, that he would get in trouble. look where he is now.
and i have to live with this idiot...

I see the "zero tolerance" weapons policy has only harshened tenfold since I was last in school. Kid shouldn't have had anything that could remotely been considered a weapon, sharp or not, purely because schools will stomp your face in the dirt over it. Expulsion is a ridiculous punishment over it, though.

@Chary he sharpened it, as i had stated in the post, plus if you had enough force behind it, a stab probably wouldn't penetrate someone, but it would hurt them pretty bad. also, he could've taken the handle and whacked someone across the face with it, as the handle is made out of metal.

Saying the handle is made of metal is like saying I could use a metal pencil box as a weapon, too. If the school argued the handle as a threat I would have laughed. Unless he has had previous instances of getting in trouble, no way should expulsion have been on the table. He was stupid to have it at school, but that punishment is just too harsh. And even if your mother tried to file an appeal over it, it'd likely get denied purely because school boards cry out in terror when they see "mildly sharp object". Crappy situation for your brother all the way around.

i forgot to mention that he also did some things that could lead to me getting kicked out as well. our house isnt close enough to the school to be in it's district, so we use our stepdad's old house as our "address" even though we dont really live there. my brother already told some kids that we don't really live within the district. all it takes is one kid telling the (assistant) principal, and i'm gone too.
@Chary still, a sharp knife could seriously injure someone, if he knew what he was doing. he was also threatening me with it all the time at our house, too.

F
Your brother was threatening you with that knife?
Ja-I mean, one kick in the balls and he wouldn't even swing that little bitch.
Anyways, how he did sharpen it? It really takes alot of time to sharpen a dull knife or in this case, a trainer knife.

No, your brother is definitely an idiot and a douchebag.
Trainer knife us ine thing, sharpening it is an other, but actually harassing you with it is just way too far off the acceptable limit.
I do think expulsion wasn't right but he did actually need a life lesson or karma slapped to get things straight.

I carry a knife on me all the time. There's quite a few of friends that do the same. Reason being, is self defense. On top of that, I am almost 18. Meaning, in the US I am entitled to bear arms. Under the impression of self defense. Of course I wouldn't carry a gun, but a knife does fine. Or my fists lol

our school is an elementary/middle school, going from kindergarten (i think) to eighth grade. it's pretty understandable why carrying a knife is illegal on the campus.

Unserstable. Yet, I'm a senior. Thank God for that. Trust me, highschool is gonna suck for you. It's never fun, it's just something you have to go through. But eh, schools can be too protective. But for good reason, there are dumbass'and crazy people out there!

i know highschool is gonna suck. it's gonna suck even more cause i'm trying to get to my state high school and there will be lots of studying.

Freshman year is always a bitch. Sophomore year as well. But, Junior and Senior year are rather good. You don't need many classes those years. Studying isn't as bad either.

I personally have 2 tasers and 2 knives for my home and in my car while on the road plus a metal baseball bat.
I have no intention to use them in any way but I've been assaulted before and local police and judicial system were too helpful not to resort to this (super explosive sarcasm!).

Still, I'd never use them unless I absolutely have to nor would I take them off their place of storage.
I did try the taser once on myself (a GuardDog 8000K Volts) and I almost literally span around myself like Sonic out of pain :(

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
