Addicted to switching browsers.

No, polling isn't my only addiction. I'm addicted to switching browsers
I was a chrome user, who switched to Edge for features.
However, I saw an ad from DuckDuckGo saying my browser wasn't privacy-friendly
so I switched to Firefox for a long period of time
However, one error for a website I used caused me to switch to Avast Privacy Browser
That wasn't private though
Then I switched to Dissenter which isn't getting any updates anymore
so then Brave, however, I really missed Firefox and found out they fixed the bug
However, they made a blog stating political opinions which I didn't want from Mozilla
I switched to Waterfox but that browser's been really glitchy
Then Pale Moon but it's been slow
Help me chose a permanent option

not sure what that's supposed to mean, but i've been using it for years so i might have fallen blind to any apparent flaws it might have

This, combined with your poll stuff, leads me to believe something like obsessive compulsive disorder is at play here. Have you seen a doctor for these things? I'm asking seriously. Not joking or trying to belittle you whatsoever.

I would possibly recommend it but there's two things.... The first being that you have to want to go on your own because you feel there may be something "wrong". By all means do not go just cuz some random person like myself on the internet says something. Secondly, if you feel it may be beneficial, you have to be 100% completely honest with them about EVERYthing or there's no way it could ever be beneficial.

About browsers. I'd just stick with your two favorites and swap between them as needed. I use both Firefox and (the new) Edge.

Edit: "Wrong" isn't really a good term to use. If a person suffers from ANY type of illness, there is nothing really "wrong" with them. A bit too late since you've already read it, but I should have said "The first being that you have to want to go on your own because you feel it could be beneficial to you." :)

I tend to use different devices with different browsers, so there isn't one browser i'd consider my favorite.
Chromium, Edge and Firefox haven't really failed me so far. They're all basically the same anyways.

Saw a video like "Playing Ouya in 202x" a while ago, it was too much work for too little console.

Because co-pilot doesnt even show up on my pc. Not in the taskbar, not in the start menu search, and the option in settings to turn it on and off in the taskbar is not even displayed.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Well, I complain about Microsoft all the time. You seem to enjoy it, no offense. If you like using Windows, that's fine by me.

Being able to disable copilot is not an opinion. lol. its a fact that it can be disabled.

Yet you just laugh about it when I tell you, like Im lying
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
People can dislike Windows all they want. But I will call out the over-exaggerations, misconceptions, half truths, and lies about it.

Tired of the entire "BUT BUT BUT WINDOWZ SPYWARE!!!" thing too, when the same people give out tons of their personal info to plenty of other companies but say nothing about it.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@RedColoredStars, Companies do the exact same thing with other companies as well, so it's not just Microsoft. There are 3rd-parties like 'data brokers'.

I'm 52 years old and one of my jobs in life was marketing research. Im well aware. I've been online for around 30 years. Everyone and their grandmother already has my personal information. One more having my email address isn't ruining my life or even effecting me in any way whatsoever.

$300 back last year from Rakuten for allowing them to track my purchase. I'll take the money for them to know I bought a bunch of stuff for my cat and some video games. lol

And for people to say things like "But I use all fake info". No, they don't. lol. They use fake info for all of their banking and online shopping? Fake shipping address, fake payment info? lol
