After two long years

I thought the game was okish. I never felt compelled to finish the game.

Ys is pretty awesome. But I stopped playing it when I lost the drive to play any video games.

I really wish the games were on PSN T_T

Where do you think were the difficulty spikes? I'm currently at the final boss and found the game surprisingly easy throughout. And I hope you used the scouting talent to avoid encounters, with that the rate is pretty low.

Are theses game all that good? I mean there are 4 of them right?

Yeah I used the scouting talent. It didn't make a big difference IMO. That might be because it was a low level though.

The voice acting is tolerable and the story is okay-ish.
I love the battle system and the customization. Obtaining different skills and then using them to make your characters stronger.

The encounter rate is that bad? Damnnn I hate that stuff. I was going to start that game after I finish Ys Seven. I'm finding the Ys Seven to be a tad boring. Is the storyline any good as TitS?

I haven't finished TitS (same reason as Ys) but I loved the storyline for it.
SO doesn't really come that close to it.
You should play SO if you like ARPGs.

Also, encounter rate can be lowered but IMO it isn't substantial.

Going to be a long while before TitS part 2 comes out. Okay I'll go play SO after I finish Ys Seven. So close to the end I think, but the tedious boss battles which I find require so much patience to hit, roll, hit lol
