Ants!


I've been encountering ants in my room for the past few days. Up until now it was only ~1 per day, but I've already found three of them just this morning (plus a dead one, IDK what happened to it). They are pretty large, about a centimetre long. I always blow them out the window, but they keep coming back.
No, I don't have food in my room.

Don’t kill the ants right away. Follow them. They will take you outside. Then, with scissors in one hand and the deathly killing trap house in the other, place the trap near where they enter. They will all congregate around the trap and not in your house. They will feast on the yummy syrup and bring it back to 1 Ant Hill Way and infect the others. Don’t smush the ants though, some poisons are blue. You’ll have little blue dots to commemorate a death of an ant. Those fuckers don’t stand a chance.

Pro tip, wet the area you think they are coming from the ground at. They will all surface (from 1 Ant Hill Way and go somewhere dryer. You’ll then know their hideout. Place the trap.

Update:
So, as it turns out, my entire ceiling is filled to the brim with ants. I can see multiple cracks with eggs inside and I hear movement in there 24/7.
It's right above my bed, too. This is going to be a nightmare to solve...

I honestly have no idea what to do. Spraying ant repellent in one hole won't do crap. It might kill a handful, but I can't access 90% of the area without removing the wood.

I am not 100 Percent sure,but it could be some Type of "Rossameise" (Camponotus herculeanus or Hercules ant).
There are 3 Types,one of them are complete Black.
They have from May to June their Breeding season / high Season.

They love Wood places (dark and wet).

Sometimes,however, the Ant also colonizes built-in Wood. They particularly endanger hunting lodges and log cabins in the forest. Control is necessary in these cases.

Sorry only German,Hungarian is unfortunately not available and the English Page is very "kept short".

THEY taste good if you fry them, confirmed by those people who use to eat regulary locust has also tried fried ants!

Those are Carpender Ants, They eat wood. You gotta get those things out fast, the more babies they have the faster your house gets eaten away. You might need an exteriminator if you can't kill them all yourself. They aren't dangerous outside, but living with them is different. They can bite animals and humans. So if untreated their going to infest your house to where you can no longer live there.
