Here is the new level select screen that replaces the previous drop down menu with a diorama of the track. This method is less efficient but I may be able to float extra interest in playing all the levels by showing a preview of them. #gamedev

I am still working on NewoZero. Going to drop the v4.0 update at some point in December 2023. The game looks much better when its running at full speed on a wii or emulated in dolphin. Download the latest beta to try it out early. Here are some shots of a new area I am working on.

Over the past week I fixed some bugs in my frustum code. I realised it when I refactored some old code and the noticed the distance limit was not being checked. these fixes are for the version 4 that is currently in beta

Was playing around with the colours after work and figured I would patch in some basic colour schemes into the game. So now you can play the entire game in gray scale, red, green or blue. why? why not? #gamedev #wii #homebrew and yes my menu UI is getting out of hand.

did some work on this yesterday; Just so you all know this is going to use the #wii IR pointer (turning and aiming the tank). it could be 2 wiimotes with one for each tread (left/right steering) but then you would need a 2nd player to aim the turret (up/down). might be too niche for the #wii...

current project is this #wii pointer based tank game. its supposed to look like a 80s arcade vector game. it doesnt quite feel right yet which is a problem because I will literally spend a whole year tweeking it. #gamedev #homebrew #lowpoly
