I hadn't heard performance enhancing drugs referred to as PEDs before, but it reminded me of the PED Suit from Metroid Prime 3
In Metroid Prime 3, the PED Suit (Phazon Enhancement Device) allows the user to make use of Phazon, which is very powerful and volatile, and Phazon allows for higher levels of pain tolerance and strength
Seems a bit similar huh?
