lets talk Demo carts

i normally on about Dev units and running the Dev signed Demos which have a build date

the Demo Carts do not have a build date in the title they just state [DEMO] after the title name

the demo's on the cart appear to be exactly the same ones that you get at events but obviosly on a legit card and signed to run on a standard 3DS

I saw a 3DS with demo cartridge on it on a book store here in my town. I notice that with the cartridge (OoT) the video game starts straight from cartridge, without entering on system menu.

asking in a shop, you might get lucky "you got any demo carts you gonna throw out, i would love them"

i cleaned um up a bit lol

i tryed it with the console on and it boots pretty much the same as the normal game

With my local Gamestation store most likely closing up, this might be an opportunity for me to grab some.
Although they'll probably go to my brother instead since he'd love them, and works there.

:O It would be awesome to grab a Starfox demo! Im going to ask Gamestop right now! They should be putting up the Kid Icarus Demos anyway.

Interesting.
I have a 3DS demo cart. From what I've seen it is also region locked (just as a standard retail cart would be), which kind of sucks. I mean they don't "distribute" these carts (gaming stores only - or the gaming stores aren't "supposed" to sell them) so I can't really see any good reason to region lock them, since it wouldn't even affect the market if one got to one person because most people can't get them as if they're retail carts.

Does it ever bother you that you need to buy the full game after playing these? You know, like "This is a cool beans game. I should buy it next!"

These demo cards are region locked too, right? But I notice that these seem to be european cards..

    You can add platform character behavior to any sprite, just disable the default controls for it, and make it jump/move in your code. The rectangle behavior is cool too for enemies.

    It makes it move around constantly in different directions, like a enemy moving back n forth from one side to other

    Yea it does. And you can add platform character behavior to your own charcter, and it will have move and jump already setup for you, space bar is jump, arrows move
