Someone once told me I was like a character in this sitcom. I have no idea why they would think that.

Haha there's always small mistakes made when trying to include games in TV shows and movies.
Mario 64 didn't use the memory packs.

Another thing that bothers me is that he's older than me yet he counts the N64 as old school and vintage.

I don't do it, well yet that is, probably because I first got one in 2006.

The show is pretty shit.

I thought nerds would realize saying "N64! Mario!" isn't funny and you can only have so many "We're socially awkward!" or physics jokes in a show.

It's like basing an entire show based on puns on cheese. It'd stop being funny after five minutes. It's just start being cheesy.

This show is hilarious. Comedy gold, and pretty much the only thing I can be bothered to watch on TV anymore.

Jokes on the Big Bang Theory are like the Raphus cucullatus: long since extinct.

I, like Guild, think this show gets retarded the more you watch it. My family does and I've joined in maybe 3 or 4 times.

At first I thought "Man, I really get this humor!" then..."Jesus christ that's not even funny -.-" The writers are trying way to hard to make an awkward nerd joke every 2 minutes and it's just...stupid.

I don't even get the joke.

It feels like it's written in the same manner as Juno. A bunch of people completely not in touch with the subject manner writing a script for the subject audience.

Like "Oh man, my N64! We can play Mario!" Mario what? Mario Kart? Mario Party? Mario Golf? Like that sounds like something an old person would say. "Are you playing Mario, Billy?" "No grandpa, I'm playing Super Mario 64."

How many people like physics related humor if they have any? It's fucking physics.

The rest is typical socially awkward/fish out of water humor that isn't really that funny. Aw man, the nerdy shut in is saying something that nerdy shut ins do! How deliciously quirky!

Seriously, this show can big bang itself to the grave.

As a funny witty man, I find the Big Bang Theory offensive to me and my people.

I haven't watched an episode of the show before, but just seeing clips and people quoting it makes me never want to.

That's a bit... unfair don't you think?
I personally don't laugh at the show much, but I'm still entertained by it.
Overall I think it's pretty good and I don't think you should base your opinion on that of others. Go watch a couple of episodes for yourself. ;)
